Example Letter to introduce students to Imagine Scholarships
Dear Student,
You are on the home stretch and soon you’ll be getting ready to leave high school. That means you’ll be headed to college or pursuing other educational opportunities. That also means it will be time to pay for college or other pathways. I’m excited to introduce you to a simplified way to find educational dollars! Imagine Scholarships is a searchable database which provides students access to more than $9 billion in scholarships. It’s easy to use and keeps track of scholarships you apply for. Some of the reasons why I think you’ll love it include:
· Quality scholarships matched to your profile and searchable by keywords
· Internships (in person and virtual)
· Library of video resources to inform and encourage you
· No ads to interrupt your scrolling and search
· Your information is safe because they don’t sell email addresses
Now for the best part, I’ve purchased a subscription for you to have access for 12 months. Simply follow the directions in the infographic below. When it asks for your Group Code, type in ____________________. You can find more info at the link below.

Imagine recommends applying for 3-5 scholarships per week and reminds students the scholarship process is a marathon, not a sprint.
“Imagine where you can go with a scholarship and a dream!”
How to use the search tool
Frequently Asked Questions:
Who are the scholarships for?
Our scholarships are for everyone — High School Students, College Students, Parents, Students attending College, graduate, medical or law school and vocational schools, etc… There are scholarships for almost everyone! In fact, we have scholarships for international students, undocumented students, adult learners and for students going to trade school or getting certifications.
How do I see the progress of my students? Go to Imagine Scholarships. Make sure you are logged out. Then in the menu you can access the group administrator dashboard. You will log in using the email and password you used when registering for the first time.
What kind of awards are in the Imagine Scholarships system?
While we mostly offer scholarships to our students, we offer internship opportunities and a few college loans. Our favorite loan option is 0% interest.
What are the requirements to get a scholarship?
Each scholarship is awarded by a different entity and has its own unique requirements.
Why do my students have so many matched scholarships?
The first few times a student logs in, they will have a significant amount of scholarships to look through. We would rather them have too many options rather than not enough. They can save the ones of interest and delete those they aren’t interested in.
How do they actually apply to the scholarships?
Clicking on the apply button is only half of the equation. After they click “apply” they’ll be directed to the site of the scholarship sponsor. Each scholarship will have its own requirements for them to follow. They should follow their requirements and submit any needed documents by the deadline.
How can I be successful in finding scholarships?
While there is no magic formula to winning scholarships, those students who consistently apply to 3-5 scholarships per week are most successful.
What do I do if I have IT trouble with the system?
Contact us in the menu and we will get back to you soon.
Have you seen students be successful in paying for college?
Yes, yes, yes! We love helping students be successful in finding money for college and see it happen on a daily basis. In fact, many of our students who are committed to applying for 3-5 scholarships per week have paid for their college 100% through scholarships! We are here cheering you on each step of the way!
Why do some scholarship say “varies” instead of having a date?
This is a great question! This is actually good news! When we find a scholarships that is renewable, meaning you can apply for the same scholarship several years in a row, then we don’t want you to miss it so we put a date of “varies.” We do the same for scholarships that are offered several times throughout the year or on an ongoing basis. We just want to make sure you don’t miss it!
Many students ask .... Why do I have so many scholarships to look through?
This is a great question. We decided we would rather you have too many options rather than not enough options. There will only be an excessive amount on the first few times you log in. After that, it will add additional scholarships at a much slower rate as they become available. Here is what we recommend:
After filling out your profile, you'll be directed to "Matched Scholarships." Once in "matched scholarships," begin looking through the options. Be sure to look carefully. Often some scholarships may not seem like a perfect fit for you but end up being great options once you look closer.
While looking through your "matched scholarships," use the red "X" to delete any that you don't want to see again.
Click the "Save" button for scholarships that might be a good fit for you.
Finally, go to "saved scholarships" and begin applying.
Be sure to check your "applied scholarships" section and keep track of which scholarships you receive and how much you've earned. It is also important to keep track in this section of the ones you are still waiting on or didn't receive.
We are so excited about the thousands of scholarships just waiting for you. We recommend applying to 3-5 scholarships per week to be most successful.

Should I purchase Master Codes or Individual codes?
Choosing which type of codes to use is based on group preferences. A Master Code is one common code that will be distributed to every student in the group. An Individual code is a different unique or non-common code provided to each individual student.
When do my codes get activated?
Great question. The codes will be activated upon purchase and will be valid for 12 months from that date.
What if I don’t use all of my codes?
Since we are offering an exceptional price through College Planner Pro, we do not refund codes that are not used.
Can I renew my codes before they expire for students that I’m still working with?
Yes, you can renew codes as well as purchase new codes for new students.
How can I see how many dollars my students have been awarded in scholarships?
The only way to see the amount they have been awarded is if they are self reporting that in the system. There is a section for this, but it is the student’s responsibility to do this.
How many codes do you recommend I purchase?
We have scholarships for students of all ages. We recommend purchasing a code for the group administrator and providing codes for all students you are working with. The students who are Freshman - Junior will have fewer options but still many to choose from. In addition they will begin building critical skills and habits in searching for scholarships.
How do I distribute my codes?
Many IECs choose to email codes to students and offer this complimentary to their clients. However, some of our IECs choose to sell the codes to the students at an increased price, increasing revenue for their business. We recommend using our student letter (feel free to copy and paste and make it your own) as well as the link to the Student User Experience which has the Sign-Up Infographic to walk them through the steps of using the database.
Are there other opportunities I have to partner with Imagine Scholarships?
Yes, there are several options available to you. We offer an opportunity for you and your company to be featured as a referral to the thousands of students using our system. If desired, we can upload scholarships you desire for your group only. For example, we can add your local scholarships and scholarships that interest your students specifically for your group. In addition. We offer the opportunity to grow your business through upselling the codes you purchase from us. Finally, we offer a Scholarship Party for your students.
Can I have my local scholarships added for my group?
Yes! This is one of the unique features of our system that IECs love. We add your specific scholarships for a fee. Contact us in the menu to find out more information.
What is a scholarship party?
At Imagine Scholarships, we love to have fun! We know our clients do too! For a fee, based on how many students you have, we will send a package to the students home. This might include a fun pen, party hat, blower and other goodies based on your requests. Then we will host a live call with the students to introduce Imagine Scholarships in a fun way, giving them a live demonstration and answering their questions. This webinar is high energy with music and lights and FUN. Winning scholarships is fun and something to celebrate!
Is Imagine Scholarships competing with other IECs in any way?
No, Sherri and her team only take clients that are close friends and family for college coaching. We spend most of our time making sure Imagine Scholarships is the best resource for IECs and for students and parents.
What if I’m having trouble logging in and getting started?
